Hi, I'm Lilla, and I'm so glad you're here!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Old Town Counseling. I believe finding a therapist you genuinely connect with makes all the difference, and I want you to feel comfortable being yourself from the very beginning.
My practice has two primary areas of focus, and while they sometimes overlap, each is a specialty in its own right.
LGBTQ+ Therapy
I love supporting queer individuals as they navigate coming out, identity exploration, relationships, family dynamics, and self-acceptance. Whether you're figuring things out for the first time or working through experiences that have shaped who you are, therapy can be a space to explore it all without judgment.
Chronic Pain, Chronic Illness & Women's Health
I also specialize in supporting people living with chronic health conditions, including endometriosis, POTS, EDS, and chronic migraines. I understand how exhausting it can be to navigate symptoms, medical appointments, uncertainty, and the emotional toll these experiences can take on your life and relationships.
Trauma, anxiety, self-worth, and life transitions are also common themes in my work, regardless of what initially brings someone to therapy.
What You Can Expect
My style is warm, genuine, and sometimes a little direct. You can expect to be supported, challenged when needed, and met with honesty and humor along the way.
I value genuine connection and enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves, open to new perspectives, and willing to do the work both in and outside of therapy.
